Gema Polimer is a plastics manufacturer in Turkey. Founded in 1984, Gema started to serve its sector with injection printing, hot printing, buffer and screen printing applications in the polymer plastic sector. Gema Polimer started its recycling activities in Istanbul in 1994 and established a very high capacity factory in Izmir in 2000. It has an average production capacity of 55,000 tons per year. It exports almost 70% of its products abroad.

• Glass Fiber Reinforced compounds :

There are two different product types. Gemapilen GF Series is used in products that require high mechanical values, such as high hardness, impact resistance and strength. It is used in areas such as White goods, electrical, electronic, garden furniture, building materials, automotive, small household appliances. GEMAPILEN BRC GF Series is strengthened by glass fibre reinforcement. The polypropylene random is the copolymer composition. It is specially developed for 3-storey special composite pipes. It is hard, impact-resistant, its elongation coefficient is low, heat resistant.

• Talc-Filled compounds

GEMAPILEN BKT series are talc-filled polypropylene compounds. GEMAPILEN BKT series, which can be produced as polypropylene or impact booster, is used in products where high mechanical values such as hardness and heat resistance are required. They are used in industries such as white goods, automotive, security materials, garden furniture.

• Calcium Carbonate Filled compounds

Gemapilen FK series is formulated for use in thermoforming and raffia applications. Gemapilen BK series is used in extrusion applications. Gemapilen EK series is used in injection printing applications.

• Barium Sulfate Filled compounds

Gemapilen BS CPMF1 series is manufactured to provide pipe silence in pipe extrusion applications. Gemapilen BS CPMF5 series is manufactured for pipe fittings applications.

• Breathable Film

Gematilen BRD compound and masterbatch series are specially formulated for water vapour permeable film production.

• Bopp Fİlm

GEMAPILEN FBK series is specially developed for use in Bopp film production

• Spunbond

GEMATILEN SPB series is specially developed for non-Woven (Spunbond) applications.

• Aluminum Composite Panel ( Fireproof Mineral Compound)

The Gematilen FR B1 series “B1” is specially manufactured for the aluminium composite panel intermediate layer with a halogen-free flame retardant.
