Aküsan has an important place among the motor vehicle battery manufacturers in Turkey. It was founded in Kayseri in 1977. In its early years, it produced accumulator plates and materials. In 1981, it became one of the most important Ford Tractor factory suppliers with its production of tar batteries with ebonite box. In 1986, it continued its way with the production of low-maintenance plastic box batteries. Today, it operates on an area of 12,000 m2. Starter Battery: Is the battery to start the engine. It also has different names such as starting device, starter, start battery and so on. They are used in vehicles and generators.
Solar (Gel) Battery: It contains a gel-jelly electrolyte. It is resistant to temperature and vibration. They are usually used in the marine industry and solar energy systems.
