Mevsim Baharat is among the best spice producers in Turkey. It was founded in Istanbul in 1976. The company started its business life in a small factory in Aksaray, Istanbul district, and was doing packaging manually at that time. In 1987, spice producer Mevsim Baharat, which benefited from the developing technology, commissioned automatic filling machines. In 2002, they continued their production in Sultanbeyli in an area of 2,000 m2. In 2009, it was awarded “Best Spice Brand” by the international reliable food summit.

Spice producerMevsim Baharat has 20 spice varieties and 23 edible mixture varieties. Production capacity reached 8,000 tons of packaging capacity with 80% efficiency with three new machine groups received after 2015. Every stage of production is meticulously controlled. Effective cleaning control of spice producer Mevsim Baharat avoids microbiological and chemical residues. Therefore, there is a microbiological, chemical and physical laboratory in the production facility. The raw material that comes to the facility is first analyzed, and the products that comply with the Turkish Food Codex Spice Communiqué are accepted.
Every stage of the production process, including the end product, is meticulously controlled, and quality tests are carried out. Food Engineers also provide personnel hygiene inspections and training. Controls such as foreign matter, bad grain, crumpled grain or capsule, stem and branch particles, shell thickness, stained leaf, black grain are carried out under the heading of physical analysis. Moisture, essential oil, salt, aflatoxin, Okratoxin controls are made for chemical analysis. For microbiological analysis, transactions such as coagulase-positive staphylococci, yeast and mould, b.cereus, e.coli are carried out.
Spice producer Mevsim Baharat never stores its products under inappropriate conditions when storing them. Aflatoxin, which is also chemically extremely dangerous, can exceed the limits specified in ochratoxin levels. Spice producer Mevsim Baharat provides an adequate preservation condition thanks to its dual air conditioning system, dehumidifiers and proper ventilation systems. No wooden pallets are used at any stage of storage. Away from the wall, at sufficient height, pallet distances are adjusted at specific intervals, and with a partial shelving system, warehouse layout and Product Safety are ensured.
