Beşe Gıda is a halva manufacturer in Turkey. Beşe Gıda was established in 1885 in Manisa. Founder Hacı Ahmet Efendi established the first request facility in the 1850s. As in the first years of the Republic of Turkey, it has been developed to grow with each passing day. After the fire in Manisa, it moved its production facility to Izmir. In the 1930s, it opened new factories in Istanbul, Zonguldak and Adana.
Halva manufacturer Beşe Gıda, the development of the brand continues in the modern facilities established by Ömer Beşe, one of the third generation producers, in the 1990s. In 1991, he was crowned with the “100 Years in Industry” award from Süleyman Demirel, the prime minister of the time, with the “Successful Industrialists Ceremony” organized by the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry. It bears the responsibility of being the first and only company to deserve the 100-year award among all sectors in this region.
