Gedik Piliç chicken production was established in 1968 in Uşak. Founder Halil Gedik started as a small business with 25-30 chicken production. It increased its capacity in 1995 and at the same time switched to an automatic system. Gedik Piliç chicken production started breeding and incubation activities in 2003 and 2007 fully integrated its production facilities with the feed factory. The company has produced nearly 200 thousand tons of chicken by ensuring the necessary hygiene conditions until now. Currently, it produces 320 thousand chickens per day.

Starting as a small business, Gedik Piliç chicken production worked for healthy and clean food every day and became a reliable brand. The company pays particular attention to food safety and develops itself in this regard. The company increases hygiene conditions with untouched cutting. Their vision is to increase environmental awareness in all activities they perform, and to protect the environmental balance and biological diversity. The adventure that Halil Gedik started with 25 chickens a day half a century ago, is now progressing in its sector as a giant company exporting to 16 countries. Other than the chicken production and selling, now they are also selling meatballs, doner as a “ready to eat products” and salami, sujuk, sausage as “delicatessen”.
